Job Summary:

The Customer Service Agent at Insurance handles inbound customer inquiries and provides exceptional support in the insurance industry. This role assists customers with workers' compensation claims, specifically, First Notice of Loss (FNOL) calls. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer care within the insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound customer service calls related to workers' compensation insurance.
  • Manage First Notice of Loss (FNOL) calls, accurately documenting all details.
  • Provide clear and concise information to customers regarding policy coverage, claim status, and procedures.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and concerns efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of claims.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and industry regulations.

Qualifications & Desired Skills

  • 6 months to 2 years previous experience in the insurance industry, particularly in customer service or claims handling.
  • Familiarity with workers' compensation insurance and FNOL processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in using customer service software and tools
