About the job Scanning Operator
Key responsibilities
- Prepare physical documentation for scanning in accordance with the project requirement
- Ensure that all documents are properly aligned, oriented and cropped
- Scanning of documents on high-speed scanning stations and image capture
- Quality check completed scanned documents and save document files onto the designated file storage system.
- Accurately file name and index scanned documents.
- Create and maintain a filing system for digital files and physical documents.
- Perform quality checks to ensure that all scanned documents are of high quality and are legible
- The physical retrieval of hardcopy files from the onsite storage location.
- The physical return of hardcopy files to the allocated shelf in the onsite storage location.
Post scanning, the batches will be grouped in their original form and kept in dispatch area
All boxes kept in dispatch area will be checked for reconciliation of invoices
- Highlight any issues to the Team Leader
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in line with procedures where applicable.
General Responsibilities
- Undertake any other duties that can reasonably be required to meet the exigencies of the service
- To ensure adequate guidance is available to staff through the production and maintenance of documented procedures and processes supported by relevant training
- Be prepared to undertake duties to support other Mail, Archives, and Scanning members as required, undertaking any necessary training to fulfill this requirement
Qualifications & Desired Skills
Job Specification
Excellent Microsoft office Skills
Can type 35-45 words per minute.
Job Qualification
Computer Literacy Skills is a MUST.
At least Senior High School Graduate or With Experience in handling printing/scanning machines.
Attentive and detail-oriented
Experience in the Healthcare domain will be an advantage
