About the job Business Development Representative

Key Responsibilities:

  • Outbound Calling: Conduct outbound calls to potential and existing sellers to sell products and services.
  • Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Up-Selling and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell additional products and services to existing sellers.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with sellers to ensure long-term satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the companys products and services to effectively communicate their value to sellers.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Feedback and Improvement: Provide feedback to the sales team and management on seller needs, market trends, and competition.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to improve sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve any issues partners/sellers may encounter during the onboarding process, escalating to the appropriate teams as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, and marketing, to ensure a cohesive onboarding experience for partners/sellers.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the progress of partner onboarding, using data to drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications + Experience:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in Sales, seller support, partner onboarding, customer service, or a related role. Experience in the e-commerce industry is a must
