Position: Network Filtering Engineer (with French)

Location: Bucharest – Hybrid (2 days/week on-site)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Network Filtering Engineer with French to join a long-term B2B project. The role focuses on managing, monitoring, and maintaining network filtering systems, firewalls, proxies, and related infrastructure. The position requires collaboration with French-speaking stakeholders and hybrid work from Bucharest.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, monitor, and maintain network filtering systems, firewalls, and proxies

• Manage Check Point firewalls and related network security devices

• Work with incident management tools such as ServiceNow (SNOW)

• Troubleshoot network and security issues in coordination with IT teams

• Ensure compliance with internal security policies and standards

• Prepare reports and documentation for audits and operational purposes

• Collaborate with French-speaking stakeholders on network security matters

Required Skills & Experience:

• Mandatory: French language – advanced / fluent (spoken and written).
• Hands-on experience with Check Point firewalls and network security tools.

• Knowledge of network protocols, routing, and TCP/IP fundamentals

• Experience with Proxy configurations and management

• Familiarity with ServiceNow (SNOW) for incident and change management.

• Relevant Networking Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent)

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team.
