Position: Java Developer - Automotive Project

Location: EU (with delegations every 3 months)
Next Delegation: May 2021, 2025
Start Date: 20.05.2025
Contract Duration: 9 months (until the end of 2025), with a strong possibility of extension
Work Type: Full-time

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join a dynamic automotive project team. This role involves developing robust applications using Java and Spring Boot, with a focus on microservices, test automation, and cloud-based environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications within a microservices architecture

• Implement unit tests and test automation strategies

• Contribute to build and deployment automation

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure effective containerization and orchestration

• Work with messaging systems such as Kafka or Azure Service Bus

• Perform scripting, version control, and database operations as needed

• Participate in regular project delegations and team coordination sessions

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Java Developer

• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot

• Experience with Microservice architecture

• Familiar with build tools such as Maven

• Experience in unit testing and test automation frameworks

• Working knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka or Azure Service Bus)

• Hands-on experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Proficiency in Git and Shell scripting

• Database experience with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

• Experience with cloud-based environments, preferably Microsoft Azure
