Data Platform Consultant | Remote | Long-Term Contract

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Platform Consultant to join our remote team and contribute to the development, implementation, and optimization of data platform and analytics solutions based on Microsoft Fabric. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data management, ETL processes, data pipelines, and analytics, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders to drive data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Platform Development & Optimization:
  • Design, develop, and maintain data platforms and analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
  • Implement and manage data flows and pipelines to ensure seamless data processing and analysis.
• Data Analysis & Business Support:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate their requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Perform data analysis and develop reports & dashboards to facilitate business decision-making.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
• Technical Leadership & Collaboration:
  • Provide technical support and training to team members and users.
  • Work with ETL processes, data integration, and transformation tools (e.g., Python, SQL, Fabric, or Databricks Notebooks).

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience working with Microsoft Fabric or similar data platforms.
• Strong expertise in data management, ETL processes, and data integration.
• Experience in developing and implementing data pipelines and flows.
• Proficiency in Python for data transformation and automation.
• Experience with notebooks (e.g., Fabric, Databricks) as a data transformation tool.
• Strong command of SQL and other database languages.
• Ability to analyze complex datasets and communicate insights effectively.
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken & written).
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling large datasets and Big Data technologies.
• Microsoft Fabric certifications or equivalent.
• Previous experience in Agile project environments.
