Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Support Developer with Unix to join our team and support the development and maintenance of key applications. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of software systems and adapting to regulatory and technical changes.

Responsibilities

  • Implement regulatory reporting changes as required by authorities

  • Maintain and enhance applications in response to system and infrastructure evolution

  • Modify and optimize code for technical performance, security, and specification compliance

  • Participate in all project phases: technical analysis, impact assessments, estimations, implementation, testing, and deployment

  • Support delivery across multiple environments: development, integration, UAT, and production

  • Ensure application reliability by supporting daily production operations and batch process execution

  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, provide production support and contribute to continuous improvement plans

  • Collaborate with internal teams and end-users to resolve technical issues and upgrade system interfaces

  • Document technical solutions, project activities, and system changes

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT system development and maintenance

  • Proficient in Oracle databases with strong SQL skills (medium to advanced level)

  • Advanced experience in Unix/Linux shell scripting

  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., GitHub) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible)

  • Experience with Control-M and SonarQube is a plus

  • Background in banking/financial IT systems or reporting tools is advantageous

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude

  • Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of French is an asset
