Position: AS400/ RPG Developer

Location: Bucharest – Hybrid (2 days/week on-site)

Contract Type: B2B

Role Overview:

We are looking for an AS400 / RPG Developer to join a project focused on developing and maintaining legacy enterprise systems. The role involves working with IBM AS400 (iSeries) environments and RPG-based applications, in a stable setup with a hybrid working model in Bucharest.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on IBM AS400 / iSeries

• Write, modify, and optimize RPG / RPGLE programs

• Perform analysis, debugging, and issue resolution for existing systems

• Work with DB2 databases and ensure data consistency

• Collaborate with business analysts and other technical teams

• Participate in system improvements, testing, and documentation

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as an AS400 / RPG Developer

• Strong knowledge of IBM AS400 / iSeries environments

• Hands-on experience with RPG / RPGLE

• Experience working with DB2 databases

• Understanding of batch jobs, CL programs, and legacy systems

• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Good communication skills.
