Full Stack Developer with German

We are looking for a Full-stack Developer with German to join our partner's development team.

The role is primarily focused on backend development using Java, with occasional involvement in frontend activities using TypeScript and Angular.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and reliable software applications.
• Work primarily on backend development using Java.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and integrate backend services with other systems.
• Participate in the design and implementation of new features and technical solutions.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into high-quality software solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following established development standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Collaborate with other developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
• Participate in technical discussions and help identify opportunities for improving existing solutions.
• Occasionally contribute to frontend development using TypeScript and Angular, mainly for smaller enhancements, bug fixes, or maintenance activities.
• Support continuous improvement of development processes, code quality, and application performance.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and actively participate in relevant team ceremonies.

Technology Stack

Backend:

• Java – strong professional experience required
• Experience with Spring / Spring Boot is highly desirable
• RESTful APIs
• Object-oriented programming and software design principles
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Unit and integration testing
• Familiarity with Git and modern development practices

Frontend:

• TypeScript
• Angular
• HTML5 / CSS3
• Experience with frontend development is required, but this will represent only a smaller part of the role.

Requirements:

• Several years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong understanding of Java and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Hands-on experience with modern Java frameworks, preferably Spring/Spring Boot.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Good understanding of software development principles, clean code, and design patterns.
• Practical experience with TypeScript and Angular or a similar modern frontend framework.
• Experience working with Git and standard software development tools.
• Good understanding of testing practices and debugging techniques.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a distributed/international team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• German language skills – required, as the role involves communication with German-speaking stakeholders/teams.
