About The Company:

The company is a 36-year-old architectural, engineering, and interior design firm composed of professionals dedicated to providing quality, creative, and technical expertise involved with facilities development for private individuals and institutions.

About The Role:

Structural Engineer candidates should be able to work on large Senior Living/ILF/ALF/SNF, Surgery Centers, and Multifamily High-rise, both new construction and renovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned projects.

  • Ensure total quality of engineering efforts to meet client expectations, budget, and schedule.

  • Perform complete performance oversight of the assigned team for each project.

  • Adhere to the company's standards, practices, and policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree required.

  • Florida Professional Engineer License required.

  • 10 years minimum experience in AE environment in Structural design.

  • Proven track record of designing the most appropriate structural systems within the clients, budget, and time limitations coupled with the ability to work successfully in a multi-disciplined team environment on multiple projects.

  • Experience in working with a team of professional engineers and architects.

  • Can successfully work and communicate with all levels to provide high-quality, well-coordinated, and technically proficient structural engineering design solutions for a variety of project assignments.

  • Actively participate in project meetings during design and construction activities to represent the Company and the preparation of graphic and written construction documents.

  • Lead or self-direct site visits to evaluate various facility types during assessment of the existing structure. Ability to properly assess and take appropriate action to identify and solve problems during design or in the field during construction.

  • Experience in Commercial, Senior Living/ILF/ALF, Multifamily & High-rise; New Construction and Renovation.

  • Ability to manage their projects through proper prioritization and scheduling of tasks.

  • Experience with the Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) on healthcare design.

  • Software Knowledge:

  • Autodesk AutoCAD 2021

  • Autodesk Revit 2021

  • RISA 3D

  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
