Senior Ruby on Rails Developer

SR. RUBY ON RAILS MANAGER

HYBRID, PERMANENT OPPORTUNITY: CONSHOHOCKEN, PA

Our client is seeking a senior Ruby on Rails developer and manager to oversee a team of onshore and offshore developers. Experience with Ruby on Rails in cloud environments is a must. You will be working to develop unique solutions patterning with multiple departments across the organization.

What you will be doing:

Leading a team of offshore and onshore ROR developers
Designing and developing code that can be used across multiple systems using DRY and KIS principles
Working in existing software codebases to help with future design and architecture needs
Communicating frequently with you team on design and coding methodologies.

What you bring to the table:
Minimum of 5 years with developing software applications using Ruby on Rails
Experience in Ruby, Ruby on Rails, C#, Java, Node
Strong team leadership experience
Full development lifecycle experience: design, implementation, testing, documentation, delivery, maintenance
Experience with Agile methodology
Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks (REACT/Tailwind)

Bonus:

Object-Oriented Code preferably in C# (Clean Code, SOLID)
Comfortable writing SQL queries and procedure

Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform; AWS; Automating the build and release process (CI/CD); Automated testing with RSPec and Capybara; mobile development
