Role Overview: The Pre-Sales Director will play a strategic role in shaping and executing the pre-sales strategy for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading pre-sales teams, a deep understanding of technology solutions, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compelling proposals to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Pre-Sales Leadership:

    • Lead and manage the pre-sales team, providing strategic direction and guidance.
    • Foster a high-performance culture within the pre-sales team, emphasizing collaboration and continuous improvement.
  2. Solution Architecture:

    • Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to understand and communicate technical solutions that meet client needs.
    • Design and articulate comprehensive solution architectures during the pre-sales process.
  3. Client Engagement:

    • Engage directly with clients during the pre-sales phase to understand their requirements, challenges, and objectives.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor in technology solutions.
  4. Proposal Development:

    • Oversee the creation of compelling and customized proposals in response to client RFPs and RFIs.
    • Ensure proposals align with client expectations and showcase the value proposition of our solutions.
  5. Sales Support:

    • Collaborate with the sales team to support deal closures, providing technical expertise and addressing client concerns.
    • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the functionality and benefits of our solutions.
  6. Market Insights:

    • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics.
    • Leverage market insights to enhance our pre-sales strategy and positioning.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.

  • Experience:

    • 8+ years of experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, or a related role.
    • Previous experience in a leadership or management position.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong understanding of technology solutions, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
    • Familiarity with a range of IT solutions, including cloud services, software, and infrastructure.
