Candidate must be located in Southern California.
Prioritized must haves for the Hearing Representative:
#1. Knowledge of CA Workers Compensation law
#2. At least two years of experience working on the defense side as a Hearing Representative in a CA Workers Compensation law firm.
Responsibilities of a Hearing Representative:
- Workers compensation legal file content to address settlement and litigation of all outstanding issues, preparing Status Reports, Conference Summaries, Trial Summaries, and other reports as needed, billing entries for the work performed, preparation of legal documents, communication with clients, as well as any other duties.
Requirements of a Hearing Representative:
- Knowledge of CA Workers Compensation law and at least two years of experience working on the defense side as a Hearing Representative in a CA Workers Compensation law firm.
- The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to details, the ability to multitask between projects, take on files in a proactive, urgent, and result-driven way, and operate with a little supervision.
Other Key Requirements:
- Remote optional and some travel to work-related venues.
- No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
