We have partnered with a general contractor in the Woodland Hills, CA area to provide them with a Construction Project Manager. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Construction Project Manager:

#1. Must have at least 10yrs of Construction Management experience

#2. Must have a strong understanding of scoping, buyout, cost control and communication skills.

#3. Must have knowledge of concrete-construction, documents, concrete materials, and characteristics, concrete formwork systems, equipment utilization, scheduling and managing subcontractors.

#3. No more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years

Responsibilities of the Construction Project Manager:

  • Develop comprehensive and complete scopes of work
  • Direct and coordinate activities to ensure project is on schedule and within budgeted scope
  • Responsible for financial success of projects. This includes very detailed weekly self-performed labor costing and budget control
  • Develop and maintain a project schedule
  • Coordinate all aspects of concrete construction with the owner and general contractor including submitting and coordinating all project schedules, pay applications, change orders, submittals, approvals, and RFIs
  • Develops and maintains customer relationships to enhance companys ability to procure projects, reduce risk, and ensure operation efficiency.
  • Provide strong leadership and guidance to field and site superintendents
  • Represent company/project in meetings with client, subcontractors, etc., as required
  • Performs other tasks as provided by Supervisor

Requirements of the Construction Project Manager:

  • Four years Management or Engineering Degree or, equivalent combination of technical training and related experience
  • Thorough and wide-ranging knowledge of concrete-construction, documents, concrete materials, and characteristics, concrete formwork systems, equipment utilization, scheduling and managing sub[1]contractors
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Prolog Manager
  • Get the job done through self-motivation, effective prioritization skills and integrity
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work as a team

  • 100% in the office
  • Sponsorships or visa holders okay. No Corp-to-Corp.
