Manual QA engineer 

Position Overview

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented QA Engineer for the tokenization platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for ensuring the highest quality of our fintech products. Currently, we are looking for Bahrain citizens to work in the office.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and checklists based on product requirements, design specifications, system analysis documents, and user stories.

- Perform functional, non-functional, regression, integration, and other types of testing on the tokenization platform and related services.

- Identify, document, and track bugs using defect tracking systems (e.g. JIRA) and work closely with developers to resolve issues.

- Validate data integrity and accuracy within the tokenization process.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, and stakeholders) to define and refine requirements and ensure alignment on quality standards.

- Provide expertise in test coverage, risk assessment, and root cause analysis.

- Monitor and report on test execution progress, providing detailed feedback on the quality of the platform.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is desirable.

Certifications in testing or related fields are desirable.

Experience:

- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role for at least 3 years.

- Proven experience in the testing of fintech applications, including payments, banking, or investment platforms is desirable.

Skills (must):

- Strong experience with functional, regression, and integration testing.

- Experience in testing gRPC APIs, backend services, and complex data flows.

- Familiarity with browser Developer Tools (DevTools) for debugging UI issues, inspecting network traffic, and analyzing performance bottlenecks.

- Familiarity with defect tracking tools and test case management tools (Zephyr, TestRail, etc.). - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Skills (nice to have):

- Database validation by writing and executing SQL queries to verify data correctness and consistency.

- Ability to analyze application logs, traces, and debugging information to pinpoint the root causes of issues, leveraging logging tools such as Google Cloud Logs, Logstash, Kibana, or equivalent.

- Experience in using tracing tools (Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Zipkin, etc.) to follow complex workflows and identify issues in multi-service environments.

- Knowledge of tokenization, blockchain, or financial services platforms is a plus.
