About the job Chef De Cuisine

The ideal candidate will have an innovative and creative approach towards food and menu
development, focusing on Mediterranean cuisine, offering a unique dining experience for our
guests, establishing our signature restaurant to the high standards of quality that already
associated with Thanos Hotels group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Develop and design menus that reflect the Mediterranean culinary tradition, incorporating seasonal and local ingredients.
  • Train, supervise, and inspire kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and professional working environment.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stock control, and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen in accordance with HACCP
  • Monitor and control kitchen expenses to meet budgetary goals.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Chef/ Head Chef or in a similar leadership role
  • Expertise in Mediterranean cuisine, with a deep understanding of traditional and
  • contemporary cooking techniques.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
