The company manages a diverse fleet of vessels trading worldwide and is known for maintaining high standards in safety, efficiency, and compliance. Due to continued growth and fleet expansion, they are looking to strengthen their operations team in Limassol.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Vessel Operations Officer to join the operations department and oversee the day-to-day performance of assigned vessels. This is a key role requiring strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage daily vessel operations to ensure smooth and efficient performance
- Coordinate with vessel masters, crew, port agents, and charterers
- Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and company procedures
- Oversee voyage planning, scheduling, and operational reporting
- Handle operational issues, delays, and troubleshooting in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for all assigned vessels
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar shipping or maritime operations role
- Strong knowledge of vessel operations and maritime regulations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
