Key Responsibilities:
As a Chef de Partie (CDP), you will play an integral role in supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef to maintain the highest standards in the kitchen. You will be responsible for ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality food while supervising junior chefs and interns.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing daily food preparation and ensuring all tasks meet the quality standards set by the restaurant.
- Coordinating with the Sous Chef to manage daily tasks and kitchen operations.
- Supervising and mentoring junior chefs and interns to help them develop their skills.
- Ensuring the production, preparation, and presentation of food is of the highest quality at all times.
- Maintaining operational efficiency by managing food costs and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Adhering to all food safety standards, including proper storage, sanitation, and temperature control.
- Cultivating a secure and friendly working environment with effective communication across the team.
- Continuously assessing and improving quality control and service standards.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Michelin star experience is preferred, but not essential.
- Is a team player who thrives in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Has a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences with attention to detail.
