Job Summary:

Our client is expanding their team and is seeking a dynamic and experienced Learning and Development (L&D) Manager to lead and manage the development, implementation, and evaluation of learning initiatives across the organization. Specifically, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, delivering, and assessing training programs while managing budgets, resources, and project timelines. In addition, the L&D Manager will be responsible for identifying learning needs, creating effective learning strategies, and ensuring the delivery of impactful training solutions to enhance employee skills and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive learning and development strategies to meet the needs of the organization and its employees.
  • Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to assess learning needs, identify skill gaps, and align development initiatives with business objectives.
  • Design, create, and deliver both in-person and e-learning training programs, courses, and workshops that enhance employee knowledge, skills, and performance.
  • Manage the L&D budget, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources and maximizing the cost-effectiveness of learning programs.
  • Facilitate professional growth by supporting career development programs, mentorship opportunities, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Measure the effectiveness of learning programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
  • Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other tools to enhance training delivery, track progress, and report on learning outcomes.
  • Work closely with HR, department heads, and other teams to ensure alignment of training programs with organizational goals.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging learning methodologies, and best practices to continuously improve the organizations learning culture and offerings.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Learning and Development or related roles, with a strong understanding of instructional design, adult learning principles, and organizational development.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Project management expertise with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Budgeting and resource management experience.
  • Expertise in using learning technologies such as LMS, e-learning development tools, and virtual training platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to evaluate training effectiveness and improve programs.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and build relationships across departments.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Self-driven and proactive with a passion for employee development and continuous improvement.
