Head of Marketing

Job Title: Head of Development and Communications

We are seeking a Head of Development and Communications to lead our organization's marketing, fundraising, and communication efforts. As a member of the management team, you will work closely with the conservation, education, and sustainable living agriculture departments.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and guide the communication and branding strategy for conservation, fundraising, and outreach
• Oversee marketing communications, including public relations, advertising, website, e-communications, and social media
• Develop a clear brand image and ensure brand compliance across all communications
• Conduct market research to evaluate brand and visitor experience perception
• Develop and execute fundraising programs targeting high net-worth individuals and foundations
• Identify and apply for government and community grants or subventions to support ongoing and new projects and programs
• Solicit sponsorships and donations from the business community for projects and programs
• Plan and manage monthly donation and membership programs for individual donors
• Plan and execute fundraising events to increase brand awareness and raise funds
• Establish and maintain a fundraising committee
• Identify and recommend alternate revenue streams to improve visitor experience
• Oversee departmental staff and administration
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related fields
• 15 years of marketing or fundraising experience in a sizable organization, preferably in a non-profit
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English andCantonese
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Open-minded and respectful of all spiritual paths
• Physically fit for outdoor work and willing to work on weekends and public holidays (compensation days will be provided)
• Valid driver's license preferred
