We are seeking a Power BI Consultant (Middle level) to design, develop, support, and enhance business intelligence and reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI in an enterprise environment. The role focuses on data modelling, report development, dashboard optimization, and production support, ensuring accurate and reliable insights for business stakeholders.

Bangalore- India

Job Responsibilities:

• Prototype, design, develop and publish Power BI Reports.
• Develop Power BI Data models and recommend best practices for report creation and visualizations.
• Translate business needs to technical specifications.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to gather business requirements for Analytics and Reporting.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering team to create Data marts design.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and tune report performance.
• Implement security in reports and dashboards.
• Build and modify tables, views and optimize SQL queries, indexes as needed.
• Implement security on developed Dashboards in accordance with security and access requirements.
• Create technical documentation for the BI Solution.

Requirements:

• English - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field.
• 2-4 years of Reporting and Analytics using Power BI.
• Exceptional knowledge of M Query, DAX, Data Modelling, RLS.
• Understanding Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and ETL concepts.
• Mastery of SQL.
• Experience with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization in Power BI.
• Understanding of data security and access management concepts.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with AWS Redshift
