Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field;
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering;
- Minimum 1 year of experience using Databricks;
- Minimum 1 year of experience creating data pipelines using Pyspark and Python;
- Mastery of SQL;
- Experience working in a Data Lake environment handling structured and unstructured data;
- Experience with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms.
Nice to Have:
- Databricks (Pro, Architect) certification;
- Knowledge of DBT.
Other skills:
- English upper intermediate good communication skills (both verbal and written);
- Ability to work in a global multi-cultural multi-national company;
- Good communication skills and persuasiveness;
- Ability to lead conversations with both technical and business representatives;
- Proven ability to work both independently and as a part of an international project team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, build and implement data solutions based on Databricks;
- Groom and estimate user requirements and identify new features;
- Analyze the data sources, design, and develop pipelines;
- Design and create ETL processes supplying Data Warehouse;
- Preprocess of structured and unstructured data, create queries in databases;
- Establish and maintain technical specification documentation.
