Job (Project) Description:

Were looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test (SET) to lead quality initiatives across complex, large-scale engineering projects, including regulatory-driven systems. In this role, youll be a key partner to software engineers and product managers, shaping test strategies that emphasize automation, scalability, and built-in quality from day one.

Youll act as a subject matter expert within your domain, influencing best practices across teams while ensuring our products meet the highest standards of reliability and performance.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of functional testing experience working on complex systems
• Have in-depth knowledge of SDLC, and effectively collaborate with stakeholders across multiple projects
• Able to multi-task and have flexibility to accommodate changing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail
• Able to coordinate cross-functional effort for test-driven development, regression
• testing and performance testing
• Confident in owning and driving test planning for complex projects
• Well-versed in testing techniques (boundary value analysis, equivalence class
• partitioning, state transition, decision table) and methodologies (unit, smoke, usability, regression tests)
• Experience writing test automation scripts with programming languages (e.g. C#, Python, Javascript) on modern frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress.
• Able to analyze automated test coverage and debug failures
• Experience designing and writing API tests using tools like Postman, Swagger
• Proficient in database technologies (e.g. SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and SQL

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead test initiatives for large projects (including regulatory) by defining plans and
• working with cross-functional teams through the software development lifecycle
• Work with software engineers and product managers on HC Engineering teams to plan and execute test strategies that prioritize automation
• Guide engineering teams on best practices by utilizing tools and techniques to build-in quality in their code
• Serve as subject matter expert in teams domain and provide insights to other teams
• Plan and communicate project status to stakeholders
• Report clear, detailed application defects and assist in troubleshooting and identifying root cause of client reported bugs
• Create and document test plans and scenarios to test all aspects of our products
• Serve as a subject matter expert on OncoEMR and its capabilities
