Job (Project) Description:

As a (Senior) Consultant SAP Excise, you will work on ERP implementation projects (primarily SAP S/4HANA) and excise tax solution deployments. Your role will involve collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements, configure SAP Excise functionality, and ensure compliance with local and international excise tax regulations.

Requirements:

• Solid knowledge of indirect taxes, especially VAT;

• Hands-on experience with tax engines (OneSource, Vertex, Sovos, Avalara);

• Experience with major ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Cloud);

• Understanding of tax compliance, reporting, and automation processes;

• Proven experience in large-scale transformation projects;

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

• Ability to work effectively in international teams;

• Strong communication skills and proactive project involvement.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement indirect tax technology solutions within ERP and tax engine systems;

• Support VAT compliance, reporting, and automated return filing processes;

• Cooperate with international teams and clients on tax technology projects;

• Analyze and resolve complex tax data and process issues;

• Participate in ERP and tax engine implementation projects from design to deployment;

• Provide guidance and documentation on indirect tax processes and system configuration;

• Communicate complex tax technology concepts clearly to stakeholders.
