Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and migrate custom ABAP applications from SAP ECC to the SAP BTP ABAP Environment.

- Conduct code reviews and pre-migration assessments using SAP ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC).

- Adapt legacy code to comply with SAP BTP ABAP restrictions and best practices.

- Design and implement scalable solutions using the RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming) model.

- Create and optimize CDS Views and OData/API services for efficient data access and integration.

- Configure and maintain the SAP BTP ABAP environment using ADT (ABAP Development Tools) in Eclipse.

Requirements:

Required Skills & Expertise:

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA migration projects.

- Proficient in core ABAP development and SAP BTP ABAP Environment.

- Strong understanding of SAP BTP ABAP limitations and restricted cloud-based ABAP syntax.

- Skilled in using SAP ABAP Test Cockpit ATC for custom code analysis and migration readiness.

- Experience with ADT in Eclipse for cloud-based ABAP development.

- Hands-on experience with RAP, CDS Views, and OData Services.

Will be additional advantage:

- Knowledge of Fiori/UI5 integration with BTP ABAP.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for ABAP in SAP BTP.

- Experience with ABAPGit for repository management, version control and collaborative development workflows.
