Job (Project) Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Datasphere / BW/4HANA professional to design, implement, and optimize data models within our SAP data warehouse and analytics landscape. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Datasphere, with a strong focus on data integration, modeling, and performance optimization to support enterprise analytics and reporting needs.

As a key member of our data team, you will collaborate with business analysts, IT teams, and data stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-performance data solutions aligned with business objectives.

Requirements:

Education & Certification:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • SAP certification in BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, or SAP HANA is highly preferred.

Experience:

  • Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing data models in SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Datasphere (Must Have).
  • Proven experience with replication flows is highly desired.
  • Advanced modeling and data integration in SAP BW/4HANA (Must Have).
  • SAP HANA modeling – including creation and optimization of calculation views and performance tuning (Must Have).
  • Familiarity with analytical CDS views in S/4HANA (Highly Preferred).
  • Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) (Good to Have).
  • Familiarity with Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Participation in at least one full lifecycle SAP BW/4HANA or Datasphere implementation project.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical data models.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data extraction/transformation techniques.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud data integration.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic project environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize data models in SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Datasphere.
  • Develop and manage replication flows for efficient data movement and integration.
  • Perform advanced modeling and data integration within SAP BW/4HANA.
  • Create and optimize SAP HANA calculation views with a focus on performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with S/4HANA teams on analytical CDS views to enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Integrate SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for visualization and analytics where applicable.
  • Work with Azure data services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric for hybrid and cloud-based data scenarios.
  • Ensure data governance, quality, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
