Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Marketing Intern to support our team in various digital marketing efforts, contributing to our online presence and customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Create and schedule social media content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn).
- Help manage lead generation lists and CRM data entry
- Assist in executing ABM (Account-Based Marketing) campaigns, including mailers and follow-ups.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential outreach opportunities to support our brand initiatives
- Research music suggestions for business types and develop client spotlights.
- Support referral programs, blog posts and targeted promotion
- Help organize marketing materials and update website content (SEO).
- Assist with event coordination and vendor communication for swag
- Contribute to customer success communications and analyze marketing performance
Qualifications:
- Experience in Marketing at a B2B organization OR enrolled in/graduated with a degree or certification in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Passion for music and familiarity with a wide variety of genres
- Willingness to try new things, learn, and adapt on the job
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with social media platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Expectations:
- Availability 20+ hrs / week
- High-speed internet when working remotely
- Ability to commute to office in Lafayette 2-3 days / week (Tues-Thurs)
- Comfortability communicating with clients via email or phone
- High attention to detail
- Passion for music and familiarity with a wide variety of genres
- Willingness to try new things, learn, and adapt on the job
Internship details:
- Flexible, hybrid work schedule
- Tight-knit team in a fast-paced environment
- Fully paid @ $20 / hr
- 8-week minimum commitment
