Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
• Support individuals in following their personalized care plans and ensure their needs are met.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on care and wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to care practices.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents by following health and safety protocols.
• Engage with residents through social activities, promoting their independence and dignity.

Experience

• Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential; we welcome candidates who are eager to learn.
• Strong command of English is required for effective communication with residents and team members.
• Familiarity with IT systems for record keeping would be beneficial.
• A genuine passion for providing compassionate care and supporting individuals in their daily lives.
• Ability to drive is preferred, as it may be necessary for transporting clients or travelling between locations.
