System Engineer

 Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities

CLIENT FACING

  • Implement new technologies at customer locations, ensuring a seamless integration process.
  • Understand the client impact of new technologies and address any concerns.
  • Provide thorough training and documentation to customers on newly implemented technologies.
  • Efficiently complete scheduled tasks while maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Follow up with customers and assist with testing to ensure project completion and satisfaction.

INTERNAL COORDINATION:

  • Collaborate with the project coordinator to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Provide valuable feedback to Strategic teams based on client experiences.
  • Update relevant documentation to reflect the technologies implemented.
  • Maintain accurate time and expenses in ticketing system.
  • Oversee inventory removed from the corporate office and coordinate with the Design Desk to ensure proper equipment is utilized and accounted for.
  • Participate in weekly project standups and debrief meetings and assist in after-hours support rotation.
  • Engage in ongoing technical and professional training as directed by the Leadership Team.
  • Update customer contact information in ticketing system and oversee associated client documentation.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technology implementation and client-facing roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully working on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and client expectations.
  • Strong experience with technical troubleshooting and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to cleanly run and activate network lines.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with Server 2012, 2016, and 2019.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Experience with Azure AVD.
  • Familiarity with security system configuration including Firewalls, VLAN setup, Switch install/configuration, and Wi-Fi setups.
  • Understanding of Office 365 and security system routing (preferred).
  • Understanding and familiarity with Hyper-V
