About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join a well-established workshop in Western Sydney

This business specialises in comprehensive vehicle repairs and servicing across cars, trucks, and trailers

The ideal candidate will have experience working with heavy vehicles and be comfortable handling a mix of workshop-based and onsite servicing, breakdown assistance, and RMS safety inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain cars, trucks, and trailers.
  • Conduct RMS safety inspections and compliance checks.
  • Attend to onsite servicing and breakdowns as required.
  • Perform general repairs and preventative maintenance on heavy vehicles.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Ensure all work meets safety and regulatory standards.
  • Work collaboratively with other mechanics and technicians in the workshop.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working on trucks, trailers, and heavy vehicles.
  • RMS Authorised Inspection Scheme (AIS) license (preferred but not essential).
  • Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
  • Strong commitment to safety procedures and compliance.
  • Current manual driver's license (HR license preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
