Mechanics Recruitment is proud to be partnering with Southern Cross Automotive Repairs, a well-established and family-run business servicing Sydney's southern suburbs. With a solid reputation for quality workmanship and exceptional customer service, they're now looking to welcome a skilled Motor Mechanic to their growing team.

About the Role:
You'll be based at their Mascot workshop, responsible for a mix of diagnostics, servicing, and repairs across a variety of vehicles from family cars to light commercial.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using up-to-date diagnostic tools

• Performing general servicing, including brakes, tyres, oil changes, etc.

• Repairing or replacing engines, transmissions, steering components, and more

• Completing roadworthy inspections and reporting

• Communicating clearly with customers and the team

• Maintaining clean, organised records of all work performed

• Keeping safety and workshop standards high

What We're Looking For:

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)

• Relevant trade licence

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a workshop setting (preferred)

• Confident using modern diagnostic tools and fault-finding methods

• Great communicator and team player

• Valid Australian drivers licence

• Someone who takes pride in their work and wants to grow with the business
