About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join a well-established operation servicing and maintaining a range of agricultural machinery and equipment. This is a permanent, full-time position suited to a mechanic with hands-on experience in agricultural or mobile plant environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, diagnose, and repair agricultural equipment, including tractors, harvesters, and related machinery

• Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing

• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults

• Perform engine, transmission, and component repairs

• Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately

• Ensure all work is completed in line with safety and manufacturer standards

Skills and Experience

• Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic (or equivalent)

• Proven experience working on agricultural equipment or mobile plant

• Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and mechanical systems

• Ability to diagnose faults and work independently

• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail

• Clear communication skills in English

Additional Requirements

• Current Australian drivers licence

• Ability to work in a regional or agricultural environment

• Willingness to support seasonal workloads and breakdowns, when required
