Mobile Plant & Road Transport Mechanic

$60+ per hour | Vehicle + Accommodation Available | Full Time

Mechanics Recruitment is seeking experienced Heavy Plant or Road Transport Mechanics to join a busy operation based in Katherine, NT. This is a great opportunity to secure steady, well-paid work with long-term stability.

About the role

You'll be working across local transport companies, quarries and cattle stations, keeping critical equipment moving.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Service and repair of construction, mining and quarry equipment

• Fleet servicing of Toyota 4WDs and road transport vehicles

• Hydraulic hose and component repairs

• General mechanical tasks as required

What we're looking for

• Certificate III in Heavy Mobile Plant Mechanic or similar

• Own tools

• Strong work ethic and reliability

• Able to work independently and in a team

• Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents only
