• Main engine type/model: Cummins QSK60-M 5475kW
• VU flag

Minimum experience requirements:

• Previous experience on Diesel Electric propulsion systems and ATHS vessels with DP 2 systems.
• DP Maintenance Certificate
• High Voltage certificate
• H2S certificate
• Yellow fever vaccinated
• Good level of English language

Contract duration: 3+/-1 months on a rotation basis

Approved nationalities: EEU and Others

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our team and oversee the maintenance and operation of our AHTS DP2 vessel. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the vessel is in compliance with all safety regulations, managing the engineering department, and maintaining the vessel's machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the engineering department and oversee the maintenance and operation of the vessel's machinery and equipment.

- Ensure that the vessel is in compliance with all safety regulations and standards.

- Conduct regular inspections of the vessel's machinery and equipment to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement.

- Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure that the vessel is always in top condition.

- Manage the vessel's budget for maintenance and repairs.

- Work closely with other departments on board to ensure that all operations run smoothly.

- Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and crew members as needed.

- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in marine engineering or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chief Engineer on AHTS DP2 vessels.

- Strong knowledge of marine engineering principles and practices.

- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and standards.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to manage a team effectively.

- Strong problem-solving skills.
