Are you a newly skilled CT Technologist looking for a full time opportunity?
Our client's team is looking to fill a crucial role in performing CT scans and procedures under the supervision of qualified physicians for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. As a CT Technologist, you will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer IV contrast media, and conduct scans following established protocols. Your knowledge of radiation exposure to patients will be essential in making technical adjustments based on body habitus, age, and ALARA principles.
All work will be onsite in Albany, GA
Daily responsibilities:
- Conduct routine radiological x-ray and CT procedures as prescribed by physicians or healthcare providers.
- Ensure patient comfort and cooperation during imaging procedures.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ensure proper positioning of patients for accurate images.
- Provide direct patient care, addressing the needs of patients of all age groups.
- Explain procedures to patients, addressing their concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions during and after imaging procedures.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of imaging procedures, patient information, and any observed anomalies.
- Ensure proper documentation of radiation doses administered.
- Adhere to hospital and departmental attendance, punctuality, and safety guidelines.
- Comply with all organizational policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate protective clothing and equipment as necessary.
Must Have's Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in CT
- Vocational/Technical Degree in Radiography Program
- Required Certifications/Licensures: Certified Computed Tomography (CT)(ARRT), obtained within one year of hire

- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Basic Life Support (BLS) Certifications/Licensures
