Salary:  Up to £60k - £70k Plus Package

Mechanical Project Manager - A great opportunity has arisen with a well-established M&E Building Services Contractor who are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their team. 

The company works across a variety of industry sectors, including education, healthcare, residential, industrial, retail and commercial and has remained a privately owned family business for many years. With a great reputation within the building services sector, my client offers a full M&E package to it's clients, including design, installation & maintenance.

A Mechanical Project Manager is now required to initiate and deliver projects within the Midlands area.

The role:

The position is predominantly site based where you will be required to manage projects of M&E value up to £12million.

Project locations are across the Midland region.

As the successful Project Manager, you will need a background in the Mechanical building services industry and significant experience of project supervision and management roles. MS Word, Excel, and Outlook skills are essential.

Duties will include:

  • Liaison/meetings with clients, supply chain,  delivery teams and management.
  • Health & Safety management with support from QHSE manager
  • Attending internal CVR/progress meetings
  • Financial management of projects, including procurement and assisting with costings.
  • Specification and ordering of materials.
  • Preparation of method statements and risk assessments.
  • Management and briefing of installation personnel.
  • Resolving installation and access issues.
  • Completion and submission of as-installed documentation.
  • Programme and project planning
