Type:       Immediate start - 3 month fixed term contract - potentially to permanent

Location:  Birmingham

Salary:      £35k - £45k dep on exp.

A dynamic M&E consultancy based in Birmingham, have an urgent requirement for an experienced MEP BIM Technician to join their team on a 3 month fixed term contract with the potential for it to become permanent. 

This role will see you working on exciting developments in the UK with projects thriving on teamwork and collaboration, making your excellent communication abilities and enthusiasm for achieving success with others invaluable in this role. Projects will be varied and will include commercial, education, residential and healthcare. This is a company who are passionate about MEP Engineering, sustainability, digital engineering and acoustics and offer a great working & team environment.

As the successful BIM Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

• Working closely with the M&E Design Engineers to produce full BIM models of projects, delivering 3D modelling expertise to a variety of multidisciplinary projects in the MEP discipline.
• Creating all MEP drawings to the company standard
• Ensure all drawings are issued to the relevant people and distributed when necessary
• To create X-Refs of new Architects drawings when received
• To keep good communication with Design Engineers with regard to jobs being worked on
• Creation, Modification, and ownership of MEP Revit Models
