Job Opportunity in Barcelona: German-Speaking Content Moderator (On-site)

Location: Barcelona, Spain
Shift: Morning (08:00 16:00)
Schedule: Monday to Sunday with rotational weekends off (2 weekends off/month)
Start Date: April 28th
Work Model: 100% On-Site
Salary: 2,068 gross/month (24,816.05 gross/year)
Sunday Bonus: 14.43 per worked Sunday

About the Role

Are you fluent in German and passionate about maintaining a safe and respectful online space? Join our team in Barcelona as a German-Speaking Content Moderator and help shape positive online experiences by monitoring live-streamed videos.

You'll be part of a dynamic, international team in one of Europe's most vibrant cities, reviewing and moderating content to ensure compliance with community guidelines. Please note that some content may be sensitive in nature. Full training will be provided,  experience is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, review, and moderate live video streams for policy compliance
  • Identify and remove inappropriate or harmful content

  • Apply objective and accurate judgment in content decisions

  • Ensure platform safety standards and community rules are upheld

  • Stay informed on policy updates and industry trends

  • Collaborate with internal teams and escalate critical content issues

Requirements

  • Fluent in German (C1/C2) and proficient in English (minimum B2)

  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills

  • Comfortable working with potentially sensitive content

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

  • Basic computer literacy and adaptability to digital tools

  • Must be located in Barcelona and willing to work on-site

  • Previous experience in content moderation is a plus but not required
