Position: Fraud Prevention Specialist

Location: Lisbon, Portugal

Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonuses. 

What Youll Do:

• Monitor and analyse transactions to identify and prevent fraudulent activities for Italian-speaking customers.
• Investigate suspicious cases, assess risks, and take appropriate actions to protect customers and the company.
• Communicate with customers professionally via phone, email, or chat to verify transactions or resolve fraud-related inquiries.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance fraud detection processes and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of investigations and outcomes using company systems.
• Stay updated on fraud trends and contribute to improving prevention strategies.

What Were Looking For:

• Fluency in Italian (C1 or native level) and proficiency in English (B2 level), both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify patterns and anomalies.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word) or similar tools.
• Previous experience in fraud prevention, customer support, or a related field is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to relocate to Lisbon, Portugal, and work in an office-based environment.
• Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including weekends (e.g., 8-hour shifts between 8 AM and 8 PM).
