 Job Overview:

As a **Compliance and Risk Management Specialist**, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our organization adheres to legal standards and internal policies. This role involves managing risks, enforcing compliance, and supporting the business across French and English-speaking regions. You'll provide guidance, conduct audits, and ensure the company complies with all necessary regulations, specifically within the EU.

This position offers a **hybrid work model**, with a flexible schedule. After completing training, you'll only need to attend the office **two days per month** unless otherwise required.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Monitor and enforce compliance:** Ensure that the company operates in full compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies across French and English-speaking regions.

- **Risk assessment and mitigation:** Identify, assess, and document risks. Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.

- **Policy development:** Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating compliance policies and procedures.

- **Regulatory reporting:** Prepare and submit necessary reports to relevant authorities and senior management.

- **Internal audits:** Conduct and coordinate internal audits to monitor compliance with legal standards.

- **Incident management:** Investigate breaches of compliance or risk incidents, providing detailed reports and recommended actions.

- **Collaboration:** Work closely with different departments (Legal, Finance, Operations) to ensure all operations meet legal and compliance standards.

- **Stay informed:** Keep up to date with regulatory developments within the French and English markets.

Training & Work Schedule:

- **Training Period:**

- **Monday to Sunday** (6 weeks in the office).

- **After training:** Hybrid model with only **2 office days per month**.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

- **Language Proficiency:**

- Fluency in **French** (C1 level)

- Professional proficiency in **English** (B2 level or above)

- **Experience:**

- 2-3 years of experience in **Compliance, Risk Management**, or a related field, preferably in an international environment (desirable but not required)

- **Knowledge of Regulations:**

- Strong understanding of **EU compliance regulations**, including **data privacy, anti-money laundering (AML), and corporate governance**.

- **Analytical Skills:**

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex information and provide clear, actionable insights.

- **Attention to Detail:**

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail when monitoring risks and compliance issues.

- **Problem Solving:**

- Proactive and solution-oriented approach to resolving compliance and risk issues.

- **Communication Skills:**

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
