About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Digital Trust & Safety Specialist with excellent French and English language skills to join our international team in Sofia, Bulgaria.

In this role, you will help create and maintain a safe, respectful, and trustworthy online environment. You will review and assess user-generated content, investigate potential policy violations, and take appropriate action in accordance with established guidelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and moderate user-generated content in French and English, including text, images, videos, profiles, and other online materials.
• Identify content that may violate platform policies, community guidelines, or applicable standards.
• Make accurate and consistent decisions regarding content removal, restriction, escalation, or approval.
• Investigate potentially harmful, inappropriate, misleading, or abusive online activity.
• Escalate complex, sensitive, or high-risk cases to the relevant internal teams.
• Apply company policies and moderation guidelines consistently while meeting productivity and quality targets.
• Document decisions and maintain accurate records of reviewed cases.
• Stay up to date with policy changes, operational procedures, and platform guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members, quality analysts, and team leaders to improve processes and ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Handle sensitive or potentially disturbing content professionally and responsibly.

Requirements

• Fluent or native-level French language skills, both written and spoken.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Previous experience in content moderation, trust and safety, customer support, compliance, risk, fraud prevention, or a similar role is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret policies and apply guidelines consistently.
• Good decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a multicultural team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
• Strong computer skills and confidence using digital platforms and online tools.
• Flexibility to work on rotational shifts, including evenings, weekends, or public holidays, depending on business requirements.
• Resilience and the ability to manage exposure to sensitive or potentially challenging online content.
