Japanese-speaking Technical Support Specialist – Cloud Services – Athens

Location: Athens, Greece (on-site)
Language: Japanese (C1+), English (B2+)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, night shifts 02:00–11:00 (to match customers' time zone)

About the role
Join the team supporting users of a leading cloud storage service. As a Tier 1 Customer Expert, you will be the first point of contact for Japanese-speaking users via chat, calls and email, helping them with technical and refund-related questions. You will be trained across all channels, with clear paths to grow into Tier 2 support or other specialised teams.

Responsibilities

• Support Japanese-speaking users via chat, calls and email
• Help users with file synchronisation between their devices and the cloud application
• Guide users through restoring deleted files
• Assist with account access, password changes and account recovery
• Process payment and refund requests and communicate outcomes clearly

Requirements

• Japanese at C1 level or higher
• English at B2 level for internal communication, training and tools
• Strong written communication skills
• Good PC skills and familiarity with cloud storage concepts
• Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute
• Ability to multitask effectively
• Previous customer service experience is preferred, but not essential
• Availability to work night shifts (02:00–11:00)
