What you will do;

• Prepare monthly management accounts and associated workings.
• Conduct internal control processes to bolster monthly, quarterly, and annual financial outcomes.
• Reconcile balance sheets and compile relevant supporting documentation.
• Aid in monthly cost assurance and variance analysis.
• Verify payroll and manage related accounting tasks.
• Complete quarterly VAT returns.
• Assist in compiling audit deliverables, financial projections, and Board packs.
• Participate in establishing and upholding accounting policies and procedures.
• Champion improvements and automation in internal processes and workflows.
• Provide support to the finance department for ad hoc requests and reporting needs.

Requirements;

• ACCA qualified or possessing a Masters Degree in Accountancy
• Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience, preferably in a Big 4 Firm (audit experience preferred)
• Conversant with IFRS accounting principles and experience in financial reporting
• Experience or knowledge of income tax, VAT, or inventory management is considered an asset
• Ambition to enhance knowledge and skills in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work diligently and on own initiative with minimal supervision
• Quick learner with a proven track record in problem analysis
