About the job Italian Customer Support Specialist for a mPOS Company
We are hiring Italian speakers on behalf of our client, a player in the mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) industry in Europe. Founded five years ago, they developed a unique payment service that empowers small merchants to accept card payments anywhere using just their smartphone.
Role Overview:
As a Italian Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for their Italian-speaking customers, assisting them via phone, email, chat, and social media. Your main goal will be to provide exceptional support, answering questions about their product and services, and ensuring our merchants have a positive experience. You will also collaborate closely with other departments, such as Sales and Marketing, to continuously improve our processes.
Initial paid month-long training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide customer support to Italian-speaking clients through various channels (phone, email, chat, social media)
- Assist merchants with inquiries about our mPOS products and services
- Work on optimizing customer-related processes to enhance satisfaction
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to resolve customer issues
Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience in a Contact Centre or Customer Service role (preferred)
- Technologically savvy (comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and computers)
- Excellent communication skills in Italian and proficient in English
- EU member state passport or a valid Portuguese Residence Permit
- Patient, easy-going, and customer-focused
- Strong problem-solving skills and persistence
- Well-organized, able to stay calm under pressure
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Sunday, between 08:00 and 19:00 (possible extension to 21:00)
- Rotative Days Off: 2 days per week
- Full-Time: 40 hours/week
