We are looking for German speakers for a project starting on May 13, 2024!

As a Content Moderator, you'll play a crucial role in upholding our community standards and ensuring a positive user experience.


Job Description:

As a Content Moderator, you'll be responsible for reviewing and moderating user-generated content to ensure it aligns with our platform's guidelines and policies. You'll work closely with our moderation team to uphold community standards and maintain a safe and respectful online environment. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent judgment, and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review user-generated content, including text, images, and videos, to ensure compliance with platform guidelines.

- Identify and remove content that violates community standards, including hate speech, harassment, violence, and inappropriate imagery.

- Respond promptly to user reports and inquiries regarding content moderation decisions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Trust & Safety, Legal, and Product, to continuously improve moderation policies and processes.

- Stay updated on emerging trends and issues related to online content moderation and adjust moderation strategies accordingly.


Qualifications:

- Proficient in German C1 level and English C1 level (both spoken and written).

- Prior experience in content moderation, preferably in an online platform or social media environment.

- Strong understanding of online community standards and policies.

- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.

- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to quickly identify and assess problematic content.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Required: 

- Availability to join the project on May 13 (initial training period will be provided).

- Availability and readiness to work in 24/7 rotational shift mode due to the nature of the project (onsite)

- Already residing or willing to relocate to Lisbon (relocation assistance is provided)

- Possession of one of the following documents: Residence Permit for Portugal OR EU member state citizenship OR Job Seeker Visa OR Manifestation of Interest
