Cross Border Talents is looking for Spanish speakers (C2 to native proficiency) available immediately! Join a dynamic team working on one of the world's leading social media platforms as a Content Moderator. Your role will be crucial in ensuring a safe and positive user experience by moderating live content and enforcing platform policies. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of online content regulation while working in a fast-paced and international environment.

Start date (with initial training period) is on March 10, 2025. The job is full-time, onsite in Lisbon

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and review live-streamed content in Spanish to ensure compliance with platform guidelines.
  • Evaluate reported videos and determine whether they violate content policies.
  • Moderate user comments, appeals, and content titles/covers.
  • Ensure minors under the allowed age limit are not using the live-streaming function.
  • Maintain awareness of sensitive and potentially harmful content while adhering to internal policies and procedures.
  • Provide accurate and timely feedback to improve moderation processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate issues when necessary.


Requirements:

  • Fluent in Spanish (C2 level) both written and spoken.
  • Good command of English (B2 level) training will be conducted in English.
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 rotating shift schedule (including nights, weekends, and holidays).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Resilience and ability to handle exposure to sensitive and graphic content.
  • Previous experience in content moderation, customer service, or a related field is a plus.
  • Possession of NIF, NISS with a valid residence card for Portugal or EU member state passport (a MUST)

Additional Information:

Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (12-month renewable contract with potential for permanent employment after 2 years)

Job Overview:

  • Full-time contract: 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts + 1-hour break).
  • Employees working on Portuguese public holidays will receive a compensatory day off.
  • The role involves exposure to sensitive and explicit content, including but not limited to violence, pornography, and misinformation.
