Job Description:
Position: Butler
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival and escort them to their staterooms
- Provide personalized and attentive service to guests, including but not limited to: unpacking and packing luggage, arranging and serving meals and drinks, and coordinating laundry and dry cleaning services
- Anticipate guests' needs and preferences to provide a seamless and personalized experience
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of staterooms and public areas, including restocking of amenities and supplies
- Ensure the safety and security of guests and their belongings at all times
- Communicate effectively with other crew members to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
- Assist with the planning and execution of special events and activities for guests
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times
Qualifications:
- Must have ship experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Butler in a luxury hotel or cruise line
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Impeccable grooming and presentation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate guests' needs
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
