Job Description:


Key Responsibilities:

- Receive and inspect all incoming meat and seafood products

- Prepare and cut meat and seafood according to specific cuts and portions

- Ensure all products are properly stored and rotated to maintain freshness

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines

- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation

- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and hygiene standards

- Assist with menu planning and recipe development as needed

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Butcher, preferably in a high-volume kitchen or restaurant setting

- Knowledge of different cuts and preparation methods for various types of meat and seafood

- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

- Culinary degree or certification is a plus
