Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the onboard casino, including game tables, slot machines, and other gaming equipment onboard the cruise ship
- Monitor and enforce compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies, including age restrictions and responsible gambling guidelines.
- Conduct regular inspections of the casino area to ensure cleanliness, safety, and security standards are met.
- Train and supervise casino staff, including dealers and cashiers, to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to company policies.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all casino transactions and report any discrepancies or irregularities.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as security and finance, to ensure the smooth operation of the casino.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and make recommendations for improvement to the casino operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of casino games and regulations is essential.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications.
- Previous experience in the cruise industry is a plus.
