Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the set-up and breakdown of the bar area, including stocking and replenishing supplies
- Keep the bar area clean and organized at all times
- Prepare and serve non-alcoholic beverages, such as sodas and juices
- Assist bartenders with the preparation of alcoholic drinks, including measuring and pouring ingredients
- Collect and wash glassware and utensils
- Maintain inventory of bar supplies and report any shortages to the bar manager
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment
- Provide friendly and efficient service to guests, answering any questions they may have about the menu or drinks
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the bar manager or other supervisors
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred
- Knowledge of basic drink recipes and bar terminology is a plus
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
